MES Garware College of Commerce (MES GCC), established in 1967, is one of the leading commerce colleges in Pune, India, with the student strength of around 3000, including the international students. The College provides education in Commerce and Management from UG to PhD Level.

Maharashtra Education Society (MES) established in 1860 is one of the oldest private institutions in Pune, India. MES now runs 70 plus units, from primary schools to the higher education institutions including research centres across Maharashtra state.

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is one of the premier universities in India. Established in 1949,it has secured 9th rank in the recent survey of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The ranking is based on parameters like teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcome, outreach and inclusivity to name a few.

James Cook University (JCU), Australia is ranked in the top of 2% universities in the world. It established its Singapore campus at Sims Drive in 2003. It offers a suite of university level programs in the areas of Business, Information Technology, Accounting, Aquaculture, Environmental Science, Tourism and Hospitality, etc.

Sustainability in the business context means a ‘triple bottom approach’ so that the business measures its success not only in financial or economic context, but also on the basis of its social and environmental performance. Thus, it has become a strategy and a measure of competitive advantage. Worldwide efforts are made to find the solutions for the imbalances in ecology to retain sustainability in ecosystem. It has also gained support from the policy makers and the corporate sector. The present conference aims to unearth various aspects of sustainability, the challenges it poses and its future course in the global context.

Guidelines to Authors for Full Paper

  • The paper submitted for the Conference should be a work of the original research of the author and not be under consideration for any other publication.
  • The text of the Full Paper should include the following:
  1. Title
  2. Abstract
  3. Keywords
  4. Text including objective/s, hypothesis/research problem, research methodology, findings/observations, conclusions etc.
  5. References and Notes
  6. Tables, figure captions and figures (if any)
  • The Formatting Specifications are as follows:
    Abstract Not more than 300 words
    Full Paper Not more than 3000-3500 words
    Title Page Title, Author(s), Designation/Profession, Affiliation, Contact details.
    Font & Font Size MS Word, Times New Roman; Font Size: 12
    Line Spacing 1.5
    Document Size A4
    Margin 1" on all sides

  • The acceptance conveyed by the Organizers would be the acceptance/affirmation of selection of the paper specifically for presentation during the Conference only and does not guarantee the selection for publication.
  • The publication of the Conference Papers would be done after the conference and the selection for the volume will be subject to the Publication Norms of the concerned Publisher.

Guidelines for Poster Presenters:

  • Authors interested in Poster Presentation should send an Abstract of the theme/idea in 300 words to
  • Size of the poster should be 4 x 3 feet to be sent in jpeg format to the above email.
  • Posters will be presented during the conference.
  • Presentation time would be 8+2 Mins.
  • A4 size hard copy should be given to the Chairperson of the session at the time of presentation.


Publication of Abstract

  • Kindly note that we will be printing all the accepted abstracts in a separate booklet. The last date of receipt of the abstracts is
    30th November, 2018. After this date, although abstracts will be accepted, it will not be printed in the booklet.

Publication of Research Papers

  • The publication of the Research Papers would be a Post-Conference activity (done after the actual Conference). The abstracts of the selected papers will be published and circulated in hardcopy during the Conference.
  • All the Research Papers presented during the conference will be considered for publication, but the final selection for publication would be subject to the Publication Norms withheld by the concerned Publisher.
  • The authors of the selected papers would be informed accordingly.

Kindly note that participants registering after 7th January 2019, may not be permitted paper presentation during the conference. However their papers will be considered for publication if the papers are accepted after the blind review.
